Housing
We offer various types of accommodations: houses, rooms, and apartments, and we also have our own residential park. You will live in our housing with other colleagues from House of Work. We always maintain a maximum of 2 people per bedroom.
Our clients are primarily located in the western part of the Netherlands. We always try to locate the living accommodations as close as possible to the work locations to minimize travel time. Therefore, housing is available between Amsterdam, Utrecht, 's-Hertogenbosch, and Vlissingen.
All our accommodations are SNF-certified. This means our housing is well-equipped and meets all legal requirements.
For questions and/or issues with housing, you can contact our facility manager at facility@houseofwork.nl or 0174 - 270 946.
All our housing is equipped with a housing poster, which includes all the information regarding safety, hygiene, and our house rules. We always advise our employees to read this document carefully.
General
We pay your salary weekly, unless otherwise agreed. With a Dutch bank account, you usually receive your salary on the same day. With a foreign bank account, it is one day later.
Payslips and annual statements can be found in the Plan4flex app. Payslips are available in the app every week. The annual statement is received once a year, usually in March.
We use the planning program Plan4Flex. This program also offers its own application for smartphones, available for iOS, Android, and Windows. When you start working with us, you will receive a user manual and login details for the Plan4Flex App.
Besides the work and transportation planning, you can find your working hours, payslips, and documents in the Plan4Flex app. You can also easily sign documents digitally through this app.
In the app, you can choose the 'forgot password' option. Once you enter your username, your password will be reset, and you can set a new password. You will receive an email about this at the email address known to us.
If you have lost both your username and password, you can always contact your job coach. Note: This request must always be made by you. It is not possible for someone else to request or change your details.
When you work with us, you accrue vacation days. If you want to take time off, first discuss this with the client. If they agree, you can submit your vacation/leave request via the Plan4Flex app. Vacation days must always be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. Without a vacation/leave request in the Plan4Flex app, the request cannot be processed.
If there are not enough vacation days accrued, unpaid leave will be taken.
If you are sick, you must report your sickness personally to both your job coach and your client as soon as possible, no later than 9:00 AM on the first day of absence. Sickness reports via email, WhatsApp, or SMS are not accepted. You must have called your job coach.
All information about reporting sickness can be found in the absence protocol, part of our employee guide.
