Description
Are you a go-getter who enjoys working in a dynamic logistics environment? We are looking for motivated Logistics Assistants for a company in the food sector.
As a logistics assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching goods and packaging materials. You will ensure that the production department is supplied with the correct materials on time and that orders are prepared correctly and neatly for transport. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments and drivers within a three-shift system.

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Operating forklift trucks and reach trucks
- Checking goods and transport documents
- Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment
- Working in accordance with HACCP, safety and hygiene guidelines
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving minor issues
What do we expect from you?
- You can work independently and take responsibility
- Experience in logistics or warehouse work is an advantage
- Experience in the food sector is an advantage
- Hold a valid forklift and reach truck certificate
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of English and Dutch is an advantage
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work shifts
- Own accommodation required
