Different times

The coronavirus is having a major impact on everyone. These are unprecedented and uncertain times, especially for flex workers. Right now, your health and the health of our employees and clients is our top priority. Preventive behavior and following our government's guidelines is of utmost importance. This applies to all places, including in the home you live in, the workplaces at our customers' premises, and at the mall or supermarket you visit. Wash your hands often, cough and sneeze into your elbow and keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters. Use mouth masks and avoid crowded places. Feeling ill? Then contact your coordinator to coordinate what actions are needed. Your coordinator is aware of the laws and regulations concerning Corona and can give you good advice and assistance. This is how we get rid of the virus.

Keep in touch with your coordinator in special circumstances. Do you have to return to your home country for family reasons or for vacation? Then check the guidelines and rules on the ICE website. Follow these rules so that we all stay healthy.

Vaccinations started in March 2021. The Dutch government chose to start with the elderly and nursing staff in hospitals. In the coming period, everyone can be vaccinated. For flex workers from other countries, who live and work in the Netherlands, the ABU is in contact with the government to arrange a guideline on how this group of people can be vaccinated in the Netherlands. We will inform you as soon as possible about the outcome of this consultation.

Together we can make it through these "Different Times". Do you have questions or are there situations that are unclear? Then contact the Coordinator and ask for help. We are available to help you!
