Minimum wage developments

From next July 1, the minimum wage will rise. Read more about the increase here.

Good news! From July 1, 2024, the minimum wage will rise by 3.1%, bringing the minimum hourly wage to €13.68 per hour. This means a little extra money in your pocket. Every six months, the minimum wage is indexed and automatically increases with the collective labor agreement (CAO) wages. Since January 1, 2024, employers are legally required to pay employees at least the minimum hourly wage. There is a fixed minimum hourly wage for all employees aged 21 and older. If your hourly wage is higher than the minimum wage before July 1, 2024, the increase might be smaller or there may be no increase at all, depending on the CAO.

In week 28, you will receive your payslip with the increased salary. On this payslip, you can see what your net earnings will be after taxes and other deductions. With the higher salary, both you and we will contribute a bit more to the Stipp Pension. This is, of course, a nice savings for later when you reach retirement age.

We are happy about this increase for you. This way, you will have more net income to spend or save.
